As a route driver/service laborer for Moon Portable Restrooms, you’ll enjoy the summer sun behind the wheel of a company-provided truck delivering and servicing portable sanitation equipment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Abide by all D.O.T. regulations, safety guidelines, and company procedures.
- Complete required paperwork daily including D.O.T. logs, work orders, and route sheets.
- Deliver, service, and pick-up portable sanitation equipment in small and/or large quantities.
- Maintain assigned routes with a positive attitude while also maintaining excellent customer service.
- Work independently and productively while keeping open communication with the dispatch center.
SKILLS NEEDED
- Communication, listening, and observation skills are essential to identifying customer needs.
- Maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
- Dependable and punctual qualities are of utmost importance.
- Ability to lift and move loads that weigh up to 80 lbs. regularly and repeatedly.
- Mapping and navigation skills are a plus, but not required for hire.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Insurable driving record with knowledge of Department of Transportation safety rules and procedures.
- Ability to work all seasons and weather conditions.
- Current D.O.T. medical examiner’s certificate. (We can help you get the certificate if you don’t have it.)
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Living a drug-free lifestyle is a must.
- Availability to work all days of the week.
- Clean MVR, background, and drug screen.
- A D.O.T. physical card. (We can help you get this card after hiring.)
